Strengthening Our Communities – Now’s the Time!

Now it’s as important as ever for us to strengthen our network of support for each other, and the children in our care.

Last year our theme was Many Stories.  One Voice.  And, we used our One Voice to impact very important legislation for foster, adoptive and kinship care.

This year's theme is: Many Stories. One Community.

We will let you know as plans and events for 2025 continue to develop.  I can tell you it will include facilitation and training for peer-to-peer support groups; outreach into local and state foster, kinship and adoptive communities; collaboration with other related non-profit organizations; and, support for all foster families, kinship caregivers, and adoptive parents in the NFPA community.

If you a not yet a member of NFPA but you value family-based care, please JOIN US, or RENEW, now.

NFPA is not holding an in-person education conference this year.  However, we will be hosting a virtual conference in October.  Details will be forthcoming shortly.

In the meantime, we recommend the ATTACh Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.  Click here to find out why parents and caregivers should attend.
