A Message From Our Executive Director

We are getting closer and closer to our 53rd Education Conference.  If you have training funds available to you now is the time to use it for training with some of the top foster care experts in the country.

We have added some of the training presentations that will be available as well as background information on the presenters to our website.  That can all be found at nfpaeducation.com.  We will be adding more as we confirm our presenters.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions of experts and network with your peers.

Need help traveling to the conference?

Once Again CoSA Members Will Visit Capital Hill to Share Their Lived Experience

On Thursday, June 20th, the day before the NFPA's Education Conference begins, members of NFPA's Council of State Affiliates (CoSA) will be bused to Capital Hill to meet with legislators and their staff to discuss the needs of foster, adoptive and kinship parents.

Our visit last fall made an impact with the passage of HR 3058 on January 18, 2024 of the Recruiting Families Using Data Act in the House.  It now goes to the Senate.

If your state foster parent association is not yet an affiliate member of NFPA we invite you to join us.  Help us use our "One Voice" to be sure we are all heard.  For more information go to:  nfpacosa.org
